Cultivating Qi through Touch & Movement

This evidence-informed Taiji experience draws from ancient Chinese wisdom and Western modern psychology & neuroscience to support holistic well-being. Rooted in original Taiji practices aligned with TCM & Daoist philosophy, it guides participants to cultivate Qi—the vital life energy. Through gentle movement & breath, it promotes stress regulation & a natural sense of flow in the body, mind & heart.

Key Activities

  • Grounded arrival & introduction: A brief orientation to Taiji, mindfulness, and their role in physical and emotional regulation
  • Wuji standing meditation & Baduanjin QigongFull body top to toe warm-up and evoke feelings of flow in and outside
  • Taiji flow practice: Learning simple, authentic Taiji movements, with personal guidance based on their abilities and needs to optimise result
  • Integration & reflection: A short reflective close to integrate bodily insights and support self-awareness

Capacity: Up to 30 participants (For over 10 participants, one or two extra facilitators may be required to ensure the optimal experience.)
